A man goes into the hospital for eye surgery…
Sounds like the beginning of a joke, right? Well, it’s not.

What he didn’t know until after the surgery was finished was that the doctor cut his optic nerve and never realized it. The optic nerve was never supposed to be touched.

The optic nerve provides blood supply and nerve supply between the brain and the eye. Cutting that nerve results in blindness. Watch the video to learn more.
