Sure wish I had heard about you 16 yrs. ago. My sister died of sepsis due to a very bad hospital staff malpractice. She had a feeding tube that the hospital staff (nurses, etc) did not clean nor did they clean the room properly either. At the time it happened in May 1996, I protested vigorously. All I obtained at the time was the transportation of my sister to another hospital where she arrived with the sepsis bacteria already in her blood and died a few weeks later. Her husband was the only one who could have done something but he didn't bother at all. I truly believe that hospital should not have gotten away with my sister's "murder", but they did, unfortunately. Sure hope this doesn't happen to others and you are able to help them. Good Luck.
